Rocker Tom Petty has asked 2012 GOP Presidential candidate Michele Bachmann to cease and desist from using his song “American Girl” in her campaign. The same song was permitted to be used in Buffalo Bill’s infamous kidnapping scene from The Silence of the Lambs. So, it’s pretty easy to get a sense of how Mr. Petty feels about the congresswoman from Minnesota.
