UC Davis Pepper Spraying Cop Gets the Meme Treatment

Two University of California Davis police officers and the police chief have been placed on leave after pepper spraying a row of students who refused to vacate the school’s quad.

Seventy four-year-old grandmother Joann Davis no doubt had the bejeezus scared out of her when she found herself caught in a NASA sting operation for attempting to sell a moon rock in her possession. Upon presenting this “hot cheese” in a Denny’s in Riverside, CA to a federal agent she thought was a potential buyer, armed sheriff’s deputies stormed in to arrest her.

Mrs. Davis asserts that she’s done nothing wrong in trying to sell the moon rock, (which is actually just a tiny speck encased in a large paperweight), because it was a present from Neil Armstrong to her husband. However, NASA persues anyone attempting to sell lunar material as it is considered government property and cannot be sold for profit. So far, no charges have been pressed again Mrs. Davis and her sinister celestial peddling operation.

Exotic Animals Intentionally Released in Ohio

The owner of Muskingum County Animal Farm in Ohio apparently released around 56 exotic animals before committing suicide early this morning. This sent the local community into a frenzy as schools locked down while police were busy pursuing and capturing the animals, including tigers, bears, wolves, and lions. According to officials, Muskingum County Animal Farm had been subject to repeated animal cruelty complaints from as far back as 2004.

As of this post, Ohio deputies report killing 48 animals, including seventeen lions and eighteen tigers, in the interest of public safety. Six animals have been sent to the local zoo and two are still at large.

Very sad the owner chose to ultimately doom many of his animals in his last act.

Popular satirical newspaper “The Onion” is in trouble for trying a little too hard to promote their article in which John Boehner takes a group of children hostage. Although the article itself was clearly meant to be a joke, the first tweet about it (bottom) was oddly urgent-sounding devoid of humor. Needless to say, U.S. Capitol Police were not exactly laughing when they released this statement concerning it:

“It has come to our attention that recent twitter feeds are reporting false information concerning current conditions at the U.S. Capitol,” Sgt. Kimberly Schneider said in an e-mail statement. “Conditions at the U.S. Capitol are currently normal. There is no credibility to these stories or the twitter feeds. The U.S. Capitol Police are currently investigating the reporting.”
